「到底該是『界』面還是『介』面？若是依照inter-face，物體間的表面，隱含分界意思的「界」更為貼切一些。但是強調兩個物件交互互動的過程，『介』入與中『介』的『介』更強調動作與過程。因此目前中文使用的慣習，物理化學中的interface常使用『界』面，像是界面活性劑等應用。而資訊科技中，形容人類與機器、機器與機器的interface更常使用『介』面。然而，物理化學的『界』面，是否否定了非人的能動性？」（文──徐詩雨）
